Heather Hill Riding Academy is located in Wunderlich Park in the horse-oriented community of Woodside, California. Heather Hill specializes in Welsh Cobs and Ponies – a versatile breed that enables us to offer a variety of riding lessons: hunters, jumpers, carriage driving, western, dressage and side-saddle. We offer a nurturing environment where people of all ages and abilities can learn to ride.
Heather Hill owner, Laura Stevens, believes that learning to ride a horse is a metaphor for life. Horses teach responsibility, self-confidence, stewardship of nature and the valuable skill of being able to communicate with people of all generations.

Laura Stevens offers an old fashioned horseback riding experience on well trained, fabulous ponies. She teaches all aspects of horsemanship and horse care and welcomes beginning riders on up. From jumping lessons, dressage lessons and carriage driving - Heather Hill does it all.

Trail Club

For the nature lover, trail riding in Woodside is an experience not to be missed. We ride in the beautiful Wunderlich Park and throughout the Woodside Trail system at least once a day. The Heather Hill horses know the trails well and offer a safe and relaxing riding experience. Come join us!
